Distressed jeans should be created and not purchased.  Stains and tears should tell the tale of a path less traveled and not memories of a lame sale at H&M.  You will be much more appealing to the opposite sex with a slight paint smear on your denim and it proves to them that you can actually do something more than ordering a latte and texting your chums.  Get yourself into that garment that hugs the curves of your ass but gives the hint of “I don’t really care but I look good”.  Either pay a homeless guy to wear the jeans for a couple of months or wear them to the bone and show off the rips and tears with pride.
