Clothes may make the woman but Accessories can make the woman better. If you go out without the proper accessories you aren’t doing your outfit justice. I feel naked when I don’t properly accessorize. I even add a bit of umph to my workout gear.

The Basics

Earrings
I gravitate towards big bold eyecatching gold and silver earrings. Hoops, dinnerplate and shell styles add a sexy / bieochy flair to any outfit! Keep chandelier shoulder graing danglers for fancy occasions to avoid looking overdone in the laundromat!

Scarves and Pashminas
I believe these should be an absolute must in every fashionistas wardrobe. Animal prints can add some zip to an otherwise boring outfit. Bright and bold colors become the focal point to your outfit and they naturally bring extra attention to your face.

Bracelets / Bangles
You can mix and match these guys to put a trendy / unique spin on an essemble. Mix chunky and thin bracelets to avoid looking bulky or armory.

Bags
Big punchy carry-alls and slouchy bags add kick and glamour to any wardrobe. They are highly fashionable and functional. Buy a variety of colors and styles to match your outfit. Bright colors can funkify an outfit and red adds some heat to any formal attire! Neutrals, tawny and black should be worn when you outfit already has a lot of color and flair.

Match your buckles on your purse to the same hardware in your other jewelery. For example, wear gold earrings when your purse has gold buckles. Also match the same hue of your outfit and your purse. Even when it is the same color if it has a different hue it makes the outfit all wrong! You will never find this advice in a fashion magazine but trust me it is a simple trick that will make you look totally sophisticated!
