  1. Dust a light shimmering shadow over the entire lid.  Focus on the area  just below the brow.
  2. Add a little shimmer to the inner corners of the eye to make them pop!
  3. Apply a slightly darker neutral colored shadow on only the lid to even things out.
  4. Take the darkest colored shade shadow to apply to the outer 1/3 of your eye lid. Chocolate brown, smokey blues, greys and black are great colors to use.
  5. Use a lighter color for the base or bottom part of the eye lid.
  6. Add layers of different colors and then blend them together.
  7. Use black liner to outline the lower and upper lids.

Blending Is Key!!

The more colors you blend together the smokier your eyes will appear!

After you have evenly applied your foundation, use a small blush brush to apply a light dusting of bronzer down both sides of the nose to make it appear narrower.

Apply one or two brush strokes of a shimmer shadow along the bridge and tip to give it more definition.

Make sure to always blend!!

Outline your lips with a lip pencil and use a color as close to your natural lip color as possible.

Make sure to put emphasis and exaggerate your cupid’s brow (the little dip in your upper lip)

Fill in your lips with a sheer glossy shimmer for extra oomph!

How To Minimalize A Double Chin

Filed under: Make Up Tips — Classy Girl @ 3:25 pm

This trick is quite simple. After applying your foundation and making sure that it is blended with the jaw line and neck.  Then use a blush brush to add a dusting of bronzer below the jaw line and directly under the chin making sure to blend well. This will give shadowing to the area and therefore creating a sleeker, slimmer looking chin and neck.

Accentuate Your Cheekbones

  • Apply your foundation and bronzer to your face
  • Apply a darker / matte blush to the hollows of your cheeks. (Suck in your cheeks like a fish to find your hollows.)
  • Apply a lighter shimmering blush to the apples of your cheeks. (Just above the actual cheekbones)
  • Blend in the lines between the darker and lighter colors.  This is the key step since it should look like a natural transition.
